Red Silver Beaded Christmas Decoration – Amelia Pattern

In Victorian times, baubles were given as gifts instead of cards to keep and be treasured as heirlooms within a family.  Each year, a new bauble would be given to add to your tree to create a unique collection of ornaments to treasure.  We all know that Christmas this year is going to be slightly different so why not treat your friends and family to one of my hand made Victorian style baubles and keep some of the old traditions alive.

The Baubles

Each bauble is hand sewn by me in my workshop in Cheshire, with Miyuki beads.  Every bauble takes hours to create to get the fit of the beads on the bauble exactly right.  I have come up with a range of patterns from which you can choose which are excitingly called Rose, Amelia and Jade!  You may not be able to see the difference at first light but they are all made slightly differently, hence the different names.

The baubles can be purchased in sizes from 2cm to 10cm and in almost any colour combination you can think of.  Should you wish for a size or colour of bauble that you cannot see on the website, please contact me and I would be pleased to do a special order for you at no extra cost.

Uses

These hand beaded baubles will make your Christmas tree shine.  But their use doesn’t stop there: you can hang individual baubles on a bauble stand or add one to one of my recycled-material, handmade wreaths or a garland to give it a touch of luxury.  Whether you are spoiling yourself or someone else this year these handmade baubles are a joy to behold.

Packaging

Don’t worry about your bauble being broken in transit.  Although some of the baubles are plastic and some are glass (they look practically identical) all of them will be carefully wrapped in plenty of tissue paper and bubble wrap, and then boxed to keep them safe on their journey to you.  If the bauble is a gift for someone, I can put it in a gift box for just £1.

One More Thing

If requested, I can write the name of the recipient on the base of the bauble in silver or gold at no extra cost or I can just add the year so you will always know when you bought it.
