Coffee Reusable Shower Puff

Are you fed up with those scratchy plastic shower puffs that you seem to use for a few weeks only for them to fall apart and be thrown away?  Did you know that each one then takes thousand of years to degrade, adding to our ever-growing landfill problems?

If you want to do your bit for the planet and reduce your waste, why not swap your plastic shower puff for one of my fabulous, reusable shower puffs which will cause none of the above problems.  And, when they eventually do get to the end of their life, you can cut them up and put them on the compost heap; making even more good use of them.  All this, AND they are both soft and kind to your skin!

As well as the environmental benefits, there are great hygiene benefits too: you can pop these reusable shower puffs into the washing machine and get rid of all the nasty bacteria that grow on the plastic ones that can’t easily be washed without them falling apart.

The Shower Puffs

This fabulous, reusable shower puff is a sphere approximately five inches across. The puffs are made with 100% cotton yarn and hand crocheted in a beautiful ruffle pattern that creates a lovely foam giving you a luxurious spa-like feel every time you bathe.  They are super strong and great for all your needs: yes, even your husband and kids can use them!

They are available in a range of colours and I can make sets of matching items including makeup remover pads, face cloths and soap savers.  Have your bath and body care match your bathroom and bedroom decor.  Choose matching items yourself from the website or contact me to discuss any specific requirements.

Care

These shower puffs are washing machine safe on a cool wash. You may find that some dye will come out of the cotton when they are first used.  This is normal so don’t worry; just be careful what you wash them with for the first few times.  If you accidentally put them in the tumble drier, all is not lost: they may shrink a little but they are still usable.  In fact, you may find that you like this as it then gives you a tighter weave and makes them super soft!

One more thing…

There is no getting away from it; these just look much nicer than plastic ones 😊.
